I was going to go with a Heidts or TCI kit. I looked at several companies and like the quality and engineering of those two the best, especialy in the area of anti dive and bump steer. Their price is alittle higher, however. After reading a recent thread about Jag front ends, talking to 49williard, and a thread I posted asking advice, I've changed my mind and am looking for a Jag xj6 as a donor for both front and rear suspension. When I locate a Jag to buy, and the project progresses I'll be posting updates.

I recently purchased an 85 XJ-6, complete but bady rusted body for $200.00. I have a line on a second one sans engine and tranny for $100.00. I plan to do two of these and will have a whole $300.00 invested in the donors.
I used a MII kit from heidts, but I just got the crossmember and used a parts car for the A-arms and Spindles, and the Rack with the extensions. I did order the big brake kit from Heidts too, so I have the whoa with the go.
A buddy of mine has done a couple MII IFS kits, and he said the Heidts kit was the best he has used, this is his 3rd darkside F100. His first 2 had MII but this one is getting a Dakota clip.
I bought the Fatman kit several years ago. The truck is only now becoming driveable so I can't vouch for how well it works at this point. One thing worth noting though is I felt putting the coil springs in was a real pain in my azz. The older fatman requires turning the coils, once in place, so the end goes into a retainer built into the lower arm. The problem is finding a compressor to clear the arms etc which I couldn't. Ended up pulling coils into the upper bucket and hooking up arms, then compressing coil while in place enough to turn it. Had to build some home-tooling. By the time I was done the extra $ for coil-overs was nothing. Hope my ride height ends up ok cuz I dread taking them back apart.
