Koh

Ok i been looking on the net for chemical suppliers, and am wondering how much yall usually get when you buy some? Theres this one site ive looked at that sells 26 lbs of KOH flakes for 215 bucks, they also have smaller quantities like 5 lbs for 90 bucks and 500 grams for 30. Is this a good price or could i find better? Also what do yall pay for yours and how much?

I second the vaseline comment. I was quoted $0.85/pound from a supplier in Detroit for 50# bags, but had to pay a $35 shipping fee plus $25 fuel surcharge. This supplier was in the heart of Detroit, 65 miles south of me so I am trying to find someone a little closer. Did any of you have to file for a DBA liscense in order to purchase KOH?

Thanks,
Ben

Yah i looked up some more sites and found better, how many of you had to change fuel lines? how hard was it and what was the cost? Did you have to change injector o rings or nething? Im still trying to convince my dad about this but he keeps putting it off. I made a binder the other day with apges from Biodieselcommunity.org and i put it in his shop so hopefully hell read it. I think i found 50 lb bags of KOH online for sumthing around 60 to 70 bucks, from a BIO site and they say itll make up to 1200 gallons of fuel. Does anyone know where to get those clear cone bottom tanks? All the sites online are expensive and i was jw if neone has looked ealsewhere
