Replacing Oil Pan Gasket

My oil pan gasket needs some attention. Is this a job that I can do myself or should I get it done by a mechanic. Also what is the average ballpark price to get this replaced? Thanks guys.

its gonna be a lot since it takes special sealer and the motor has to be pulled. if you have the eqpt. to do it your self i would.

im sure its not going to be cheap. but i would think if you call a mechanic they can give you an estimate.

I got a estimate to fix my leaking pan a year or so ago and it was right around 1000 bucks just for the R&R of the motor. So add a couple hundered to that and you'll be close..............Anyways, I now live with a little leak out of the pan!!!
