Automatic head lamps
I cannot figure out where the light sensor is on my 2003 Sport Trac for the automatic head lamps. I want them to go on soon then they do now. I assume there is a daylight sensor somewhere on the vehicle that I could cover with a tint so it does not have to be so dark before the lights go on. I have tried covering all the holes/sensors on the review mirror, but none of those sensors turn the lights on.

I just looked at AllDataPro, and the location page shows it is probably in or around the rearview mirror or the overhead console. It plugs into the only wire harness that runs through the mirror/console/roof area. 4 wires, white/violet, 2 brown, and black. I will look at my 02 Explorer when the wife gets home with it, and see if I can locate it physically.
