hllon4whls, don't get discouraged, it happens. Keep plugging until you find the one that's right for you. Most of us here have had to look hard, some harder than others, but we'll almost all agree that the look is worth it when you have your truck.

I agree. You stated that you weren't crazy about the colors anyway, and I'd pass on it for this reason alone, regardless of price. If you settle, and get something you really don't like - you'll be kicking yourself, especially when you see that Ford drive by decked out just the way you wanted it! I had a beautiful F250 that was totaled in October. When I started looking - I knew exactly what I wanted, but wasn't having much luck. A couple of times, I looked at, and test drove some really nice trucks, and I almost bought, but they just weren't the truck I really wanted (color, interior, etc..). It took me until February after constantly looking, but I found my brute! AND I'm soooooo happy I waited! What was really cool about it was that I got a heck of a deal on it - thousands cheaper than the trucks I almost bought! Half the fun is looking for it anyway! Keep on looking and enjoy the hunt. Something will come your way!

TO give you an idea of what I missed out on since I am no longer looking for a truck. Always happens that way doesnt it. Friend called me today from dealership with two trucks available. An 03 lariat shortbox 2wd cc with 45k and and 04 king ranch 4wd cc with 65k. He told me 20k out the door- either one.

I would have gotten the 03 since it still had the 7.3

Oh well.
