I live in so.cal.,the 2500 cash back deal ends 4/3/06.Does anyone know what/when the new incentive will be? I'm looking for a 2006 250sd 4x4 xl long bed v10. If i order now the curent deal will expire before i get the truck .How do i order a truck and make sure i get the incentives? Thank You, John

 

If you want a V10 and live in california, you are out of luck. Look in the V10 forum under V10 delays. In CA, NY, MA, ME, and NH they are extinct. Heck even the V8 for that matter.

Incentives on ordered vehicles are applied upon delivery of the truck. You take the gamble of what the incentive will be at that time. I bet you are about to run out of time to order a 2006 anyways and the 2007's have limited gasser options.

So what does this mean? New engine lineup?

 

Maybe for the 2008 model year. The regulations are starting to hit heavy duty trucks now. For the 2007 model year the emmission guidlines are 60-80% more strict.

Engineers have alot of work to do to bring a quality gasser engine with plenty of power to a HUGE section of the market.
