I parked my 1979 bronco with a blown c6 trans. Truck ran fine when i parked it,so i changed the trans , no problem. Now the truck only srarts once in a while. here are the symptoms i have encounterd. When i first tried to turn the truck over i would get one spark as i released the key. I am not getting spark as it turns over,no fire. (tried this many times) I checked for spark many times, and from time i get spark and the truck starts, runs fine. Then it goes back to only one spark as the key returns to run posistion from start. Another symptom is, every so often the starter keeps trying to start the truck even with the ignition turned off. Please help turn my Mule back into the Bronco it was. I miss her so.

I have changed the altenater reg, srarter relay, had my ignition module tested(it checks out ok),changed the coil, i even changed the whole entire wireing harness including all sub harness's in motor compartment. could my throttle actuator be part of the problem? I also changed the neutral saftey switch, engine is grouded to cab.

It sounds like you checked everything out.
With out looking at it it sounds like the Ignition switch under the instrument panel. How about the negative battery cable? It might be a ground problem, As you said you checked the engine to frame ground. But if the Negative cable is old or corroded it might be causing problems for the whole electrical system.
You might be close with the Throttle Actuator or more importantly the brown wire running from the starter relay to both the Throttle actuator and the positive side of the coil. From the diagram in my chilton manual that is the only source for voltage to the coil. Hope this helps.
