Like it alot. Have had many others, set on this one. Makes power safely, low cylinder pressure, higher ICP. Has many engine monitoring safeguards. Great gas mileage on 60 hp, good power on 110 and 160. You'll need an SCT to tune your tranny if you have an auto for the higher settings. Let me know if you're interested, I can get you anything at low prices, SCT, Quad, whatever you need.
Vrybusy...Yes you should probably run gauges with the Quad 160.
coogan1...Why would he go buy a Quad and then buy and SCT for tranny tunes when he could just get an SCT with the trans shifting and more power?
WarnOffRoad...If you want a good SCT tuner let me know. I can put you in touch with the guy running the fastest "heavy weight" PSD in the country. Back to your original question though. I know of a guy that recently tried the Quad products (he usually runs SCT or TS 5X) and he said the lower settings were OK but the upper ones shift bad.
I run both because I can get 3-4 mpg better with the Quad on 60hp than with any of our SCT tunes. By the way CB, I know who's tunes your running and these are the ones I'm comparing the Quad to. I'm not knocking them, they make awesome power and the tranny shifting is the best out there, but I like to test all module and tuners out there on our company truck to find out what works best. I try everything as I own a diesel performance website that can't be mentioned here. The stacked SCT 2 tranny tune and the Quad box is the best so far. Also, if I want to go to the track to drag, I will run our SCT race file, it makes the most power. But for street driving, I like the on-the-fly capabilities of the Quad.
