Actually 51 I did! I bought me an asus board, 3 gig intel cpu, 256mb asus vid card, 1 stick of ddr2 ram (that is screwed), a new case, new 19 inch lcd moniter, lg 16 speed dual layered dvd burner, its nice! I put it together by myself, and after getting through some minor important questions, it went really well! I am taking the stick of ram back as soon as I can, and I will try to post a picture or two of it, cuz she looks real neat
I hope you got a fast videocard to play games on that 19" LCD. For that reason I got a 19" CRT. You'd be amazed how hard it was to find a 19" CRT monitor.
Actually I am not surprised that you had a tough time finding one 51. I dont know if I ever have seen one! As for video card, yeah I got a nice one! 256 mb pci express. Fom I paid 327 bucks for it at otv technologies in stoon. It was the cheapest one I could find with fast response times!
They made CRT monitors up 24"! but you'd probally have to order it from the states. In grade 6 my teacher had a 21" monitor.
Heres the computer I build in December:
AMD Athlon 3200+ 2.0G
Gigabyte GA-K8N51PVMT-9 (it's actually a HTPC motherboard so it has high definition sound and HDTV video output!)
2x 512 mb Samsung PC-3200 Dual Channel
Onboard Nvidia 6150 video card (plan on adding a video card in the fall)
Seagate 80gb SATA hard drive (I had this from my last computer)
MSI TV@nywhere tv capture card (it was cheap and it came with a remote. I can now shutdown my computer with a remote )
OCZ Modstream 450w modular PSU
and I guess my 21" Turbogamer X-Alien case (Here's a LINK but mines silver. I've found out they don't make it anymore)

For a case im still looking, but kinda looking at a cooler master aluminium.
I plan to buy most of it online at ncix. I like the availability of cbit in saskatoon, but if you have ever tried to return something there, you will understand why im buying online.
It will cost a fair bit, but the last one I built was very pricey as well and has lasted 5 years, and still works well wiht most things. It cant run most of the new games.
asus A7v mo board
one 20 gig hard drive for win xp
an 80 gig drive for games and music
amp xp 1800 proccesor, Runs @ 1555
Two stick's kingston 512 ram

cheap old generic atx case.
It has on board sound, but it doesnt have a souround port form my new speakers, so they sit on my ceiling....dead.
With windows vista in the works, it wont be long untill everyone is going to want a 64 bit system. It a lot like running 98 instead of xp. Sure 98 works good, but xp is do damn simple to use.
