Question more power cheap?

what is the best way to up the hp of a sohc 4.6? money is a big factor!!! the wife need i say more.

how much are you looking at spending? for around $400 you can get a nice Cold Air Intake set up with a high flow muffler installed which is a noticable power increase. also for stock/mildly modified vehicles you can get a performance programmer, i believe the hypertech power programmer III is runnin around $350 right now

To get the most bang for your buck, 4.10 gears will really help pull the weight around!!!
My Diablosport Predator made a noticable difference too.

the engine is going in a 54 f100 so i think the cold air thing is out unless i can fab something. programmer may be the way to go. with the gears.

Fabbing the cold air intake is pretty cheap & easy...it's all up to how you do it.
