I was wondering what gaming consoles you had as a kid. Our first one was a COLECOVISION system (It still works). We had Donkey Kong, Mouse Trap, Looping and Smurfs. Our next and last system was a Sega Master System. We had Golden Axe and a couple of other games. Then we went to computer games and haven't looked back. So what did you guys have?
Ten digits and played with 52 cards. Friends had those thing, We still worked at keeping a roof over our head. Also fishing and hunting and find cars to fix and drive. That to us was much more fun than game consoles.
I wasnt allowed to have that stuff when I was a kid. In the teenage years I had a coleco computer that a neighbour gave to me. I still have it too in the original box! From then as I got older I bought a few super nes's, psx, and ps2. Still have all of them, 200 plus games for the psx, and 185 games for the ps2 and I never play the thing lol
Started out with a comedore 64, then intellivision, atari, coleco-vision, sega, then sega genisis, then sega cd, nintendo, super nintendo, play station, ps II, nintend 64. My parrents rented consoles and vid games at there store. Video game life was sweet. I think the only ones we didnt have were the turbo graphics 16, and the x-box.
I don;t think I can top lockup's but we managed alright as kids.
Handheld space invaders, then vic 20, then PONG (I don;t remeber the proper name but it was the 2 bars on the TV with the ball going back and forth..Classic) ->commodore 64, ->Atari, ->Ninitendo, ->Super Nintendo,(buddy had N64 that we borrowed), ->PS2, and now I have an x-box.....
Crap I had better call Mom I feel guilty we were spoiled.....
It was a square box kind off like coleco but alot smaller and the 2 controllers were hardwired to the box. Had an on off swith, TV connector and a plug in from what I remember. I was pretty young when we had it. I kind of remember a selector for head to head pong or head to head pong with a barriers on the screen.
My brother and I played it for hours its a wonder were not totally brain dead.
