I have a 1986 Bronco 302 efi. It is dead. I replaced battery and external selonoid. It gives me nothing, no lights, no horn, nothing when key turned? I left the under dash lights on (overhead burnt) and didn't know for about 6 days. I checked all the under dash fuses. I am at a loss. Starter kicks if you short the posts at selonoid, but won't start. Help.
So your saying you replaced the starter relay and the battery....is that correct?
If so, I would first check to see if the battery is indeed good....then next I would look VERY closely at how I wired the new (but not known good) new starter relay, and make quite sure that it has been done correctly.
Then I would start looking for problems with fusible links and fuses.....and yes make sure all your ground points are clean and tight.
