I have been trying to track down ny brake problems. I have gone through 2 sets of pads on the front and the rear still looks new. I bled my brakes and do have fluid flowing at the rear. Any suggestions?
What brand of brakes (rotors and pads) are you using? This has a really huge factor as to how quickly the pads are wearing.
I would suggest trying HAWK HPS or even the HAWK SuperDuty line for your needs.
Satisfied has great brakes too.
Currently on my SD...I am running the Power Slot rotors and HAWK HPS with NO problems. They do have a lot better braking power too...which equal shorter stopping distances.
Good luck,
biz

I had to put new pads on yesterday do to the old ones being to worn. When I went for a drive to brake them in all was good, a little pulling to the right. When I got home I put my hand on all the calipers. The back was pretty cool, front right warm, front left could not touch. They are clean and bleed. From what I can see the lines go from the master to the ABS controller and then the brakes. Could my ABS be acting up with out turning on the light.
Jack the front up and see if the brakes are dragging. They should drag slightly. not much though...Calipers could have stuck pistons or the pins could use some lube.
