auto hubs

does anyone know what other ford trucks use the same auto hubs as the 96 bronco, I have searched for this question all over the place. I also know that switching to manual hubs is the best option, but i don't offroad much so i would like to know what other ford vehicles i might be able to get auto locking hubs from, what years of broncos and if any f-150s will work.
thanks
jason

I have some Im gonna thrash, they are junk. Upgrade to the lockouts, if for no other reason they have a much better spindle nut.

I know 80-86/89-96 will fit. Some 87-88s are a different design.

Even if you don't go off road much, get the manuals. Autos hubs break alot and stuck on the side of a snow covered road is still stuck.

Any F-150 4WD will have the same hubs. As was mentioned, the late 80's three-screw design are the only ones that won't work. ANY autohub for a Dana44 will work. Personally, I agree with the guys though, don't bother. They are highly unreliable. Yeah, it means you hafta get out and lock 'em but its worth the peace of mind th KNOW they will work when you need 'em.

Get the Warn Premiums....

Are you having problems with your Autos now? Ford's are unique because they actually do unlock from the axle shaft and allow the hub to free spin, greatly reducing drag. I still went ahead and replaced mine with Warn Premiums though, bigger guts. At least this way I can use Low range on the pavement at the boat ramps and not worry about damage to the front drivetrain. I just leave the hubs unlocked and select 4L and drive around without the frontend binding.

I had a snapped ring on one of my hubs when I purchased my Bronco. I think Ford wanted about $140 per hub, but I found a rebuilt one on Ebay for $25.

you can leave them locked for normal around town driving if you like. it may affect your mpg a little but otherwise is fine. just dont engage 4wd on dry pavement and you will be ok. going on a long trip you should unlock them
