anyone have any idea how much a 68-72 F100 Shortbox weighs? with a V-8 and few options if possible. I haven't had a chance to run it over a scale

Mine is a 66 shortbed styleside w/351c-C6. To get mine registered in CA, I had to take it to a truck scale to be weighed. Mine weighed in at 3750 lbs without my 200 lb Christman season adjusted fat butt.

LAST EDITED ON 09-Jan-01 AT 08:48 AM (EST)[p]My '69 F100 weighs in at 4040 lbs with me in it (160lbs) and a 1/4 tank of fuel. It has a 302/T-18/9" drivetrain and few options (no P/S or P/B). BTW, mine has an 8' box, so I guess your truck is approx 200 lbs lighter.

LAST EDITED ON 09-Jan-01 AT 07:32 PM (EST)[p]yeah, I have a FE which is on the porky side anyways, but aluminum intake and headers which will weigh less than the cast iron pieces, so I'll say probably around 38-3900 with my tools and stuff I always carry with me for just in case moments.
