well lets keep this going for thoseof us like me that have run one original tank of has through already and that wasnt it cause it still does it.

so what are you guys saying. . . besides the weird #@$% that lapham is saying. . . that its the tps? or the iac?

could be just about anything. have you checked your codes yet? what kind of voltage are you getting from the TPS? what happened when you unplugged your IAC while idling?

Thought it was decided it was just bad gas, guess I didn't follow real well. There's a real good website for explaining about codes and sensors: http://www.Fordfuelinjection.com check it out.

Felixr, no I do not believe the Haynes manual explains it. do a search on the forums for TPS and you'll get a ton of hits. I don't imagine it'll be that difficult to find the voltages in an old thread.

thanks . . . i will also continue my ongoing tune-up with doing stuff like changing or cleaning things like the egr and the iac etc. i have only so far the wires, plugsa, cap, rotor,oil and filter tranny fluid looks decent but i want to flush it and change the filter anyway . . . like i said, ongoing (i only have some time on the weekends) to work on it

Yes it turnd out to be bad GAS it was ther gas that i took out of the front tank cause ther front tank fule pump is out and i am going to just drop the tank so i can put on long tube headers and a x pipe
