I am a professional mechanic and have used craftsman tools for close to 40 years.
Sure there are some that have given problems.
But I have never been disappointed in them or the service.
I can't say that for snappy or mac. Overpriced over rated.
well guys thank you for your input but I was really looking for somone who has had a three speed MOD#RAN apart and did you need the FORD special tools to reassemble
(BTW old craftsman is different than recent craftsman, if you don't believe me stuart, find one of your old sockets, go to sears and hold it up against one of the new ones, it will be thinner, because it was made with better steel, not more of weaker steel. This make it fit better, and break less, overall a better tool than what I get to buy now. That's right. I'm envious)
