Normal tools should get the job done. Buy from Snap-on, they are pretty good.

I am a professional mechanic and have used craftsman tools for close to 40 years.
Sure there are some that have given problems.
But I have never been disappointed in them or the service.

I can't say that for snappy or mac. Overpriced over rated.

Ditto what stuart1 said....

I have to admit I have other brands I picked up here and there and have not broken any of them. I am much stronger than the average guy too.....chris3

sorry for the tangent, here's the bump.

(BTW old craftsman is different than recent craftsman, if you don't believe me stuart, find one of your old sockets, go to sears and hold it up against one of the new ones, it will be thinner, because it was made with better steel, not more of weaker steel. This make it fit better, and break less, overall a better tool than what I get to buy now. That's right. I'm envious)

The same can be said for anything.
It does not only pertain to tools.

The warranty is what sets them aside.

People have become so cost conscious and demanding a lower price on everything it has driven quality out the window.

The moto of buy local only works for some items.

A press is all that is needed to remove or install the bearings.
