Hellwig for 02 Ex

Hey Guys,

I'm going to install ft and rear Hellwig Sway Bars.

How do you install them?

Any special tools needed?

how long should it take?

Thanks a ton..

If you go the excursion forum you will find alot about the hellwig sway bar. I replaced the rear factory one on my 2003, it did not make that much difference. If you tow much it will help. I didn't think mine had the factory ones, so I ordered it. If I had to do it again, I would have ordered the "Tuff Country Traction Bars" instead. I never tow. You don't have sway bars on your 2002? The Hellwig I put on took me about 2 hours, the instructions are not the best. You need to have a jack to place under the rear shock, or they will go to the ground. The Hellwig mounts to the shock mount, no drilling, welding, it bolts on. I was short 1 nut. Put a lock nut (two nuts on each) on the mount, or they may come loose. Good luck.
