Harmonic Balancer
The harmonic balancer on my 302 from a 79 F-150 is kind of messed up. So rather than get it machined for a small fortune, I'd rather go to a junkyard and find one that looks good. What other makes and years of fords have the same engine? Thanks

302 engines can be found in trucks, a lot of diifernt cars in the 70's can larger cars (LTDs, Grand Marques, Crown Vics, etc) in the 80's. Be careful not to get a 351W balancer (different weight balance). As well, you'll need to compare your balancer to the one you get before installing it because there are two different 302 balancers (28oz and 50oz)

I would suggest going for a factory replacement as old ones are likely to be dried out and spin on you. Anyone know the torque spec for this? How do you tighten it in the car with an "AUTO"
