The leather on my 95 F250 stock steering wheel is in need of repair. The previous owner had the problem area (about 8 inches along the top of the wheel) covered with black electrical tape and then a steering wheel cover.
So I'll need to remove the adhesive from the tape and then do someting with the leather.
you might find a decent one at a junkyard for a decent price. Recovering isn't cheap either...
Hmm... you might want to see if you have a local leathershop and see what they might do for you. I've used the local ones to make custom watch bands & belts at decent prices.
