oil cooler
hello everyone. besides the two gaskets that go between the oil cooler and the block are there any other replacement pieces inside?
o-rings ,seals? i have replaced my head gaskets, tested heads no cavitation and still gettin some oil in my coolant. I only replaced those 2 little gaskets between cooler and seal soo any suggestions thanks

do not use a metal hammer when tapping the ends on or off, the housing is aluminum and will crack/break. Use a good sized mallet instead, you will find that the ends are rather hard to drive back on but be patient

the oil cooler is made up of two header plates with o ring seals on each end. The oil shows up in the radiator because the oil pressure is greater than the coolant pressure. If you use wd40 you may be able to loosen the grip on the o rings. Make sure the coolant is drained from the system. The cavitation you are talking about will not appear in the heads, it appears in the cylinder walls and will show up with coolant in the oil pan. Get the new parts from international dealer (cheaper than ford).
