Question Changing injector pressure regulator

Do you need to remove the HPOP to change the IPR?

IPR parts #'s. Who knows?

96 PSD. By the way, thanks, Scott. Got it out. Okay here goes. Got number off e-bay, went to IH dealer. He needed my VIN and I didn't have it but I gave him the number off ebay(1841279C91). He said $276. I have mine out now. Number on it is 1825249C91. There are two on e-bay with the number 1825250C91(Motorcraft # CM-5013, Ford # F81Z-9C968-AB). Does anyone know if they will fit my truck or do I need to get the specific one? One of the guys said the CM-5013 fits a 99-2003 7.3

Is there a way to test the little sensor solenoid with an electric meter to see if it's any good?

there is a difference between the 2 iprs. one has a little hole on the end of it and the other doesnt. one has something to do with a built in filter in ipr. the other style the filter is in the hpop.
