Hello, i have 2001 FORD TRUCK EXPLORER SPORT 4WD
6 Cylinders 245 E 4.0L EFI SOHC out of no where no power put on obd2 came up system too lean (bank1) rough idel, chang plugs clean filter all fluids good truck starts r up idel some what good no poping missing pull out good but ony gos 20 mph with foot to the floor going only 1 block smells like real hot gage not showing over heating put back on obd2 system too lean (bank1) gone shows 0 with c, ev, o, oh, e flashing meaning could be one of these what do you think Thank Don
oh ya, would like to clean the idle passages and the idle speed motor.

First of all - this is the F-150 thread, you should post this in the Exploror thread. Second of all, use punctuation (properly), it is very hard to decipher what you wrote. From what I could gather, your Explorer is having an issue with power and will not get above 20mph. The on-board computer is throwing an error code that signifies that bank 1 is running lean. Now, I just happened to own a 2000 Epxlorer Sport with the SOHC and it had a very similar problem. I believe there was a gasket somewhere on the backside of the engine (I can't remember exactly what it was) that blew and caused my problems. If I remember correctly, there was a recall and the dealership fixed the truck with no questions. This was at least 3 years ago, so I may be mistaken about the recall. But I do remember that it was a common issue with this particular engine (SOHC) and the dealership knew exactly what to do.
