Well, I pulled the trans out after work today. Took a look up the back of the block while the trans was out and the truck was still on the lift. Guess what I saw? Oil leaking down the back corners of the block from a leak in the valley. Anyone have any ideas on what that could be from? I'd look myself, but the truck's still in the air - I had to jet so they could lock up the shop. Not only that, but I've got carbon tracks on the passenger side exhaust flange at the turbo Y-pipe. I figure that's not so bad -- I'll have Ford replace the donuts while they're giving me a new turbo (that I cooked while limping the truck back to the shop after the trans blew). Oh, and now there's a coolant leak from the fitting on the water pump to the lower hose.
Wonder what's next?

I just had to fix the same leak myself. The O ring gasket on the inlet flange pipe
was deteriorating. Used some high temp RTV to seal. Hopefully she'll hold.
When your done you'll have a new motor ...sorry....just think, you'll be one happy cruisin stroker shortly. Good luck!
