I hooked up my 22 ft. TT and headed out to o cook off and my power and MPG dropped to the point of terrible.
Once home I hooked up my 18 ft. flat bed trailer and the same thing. No power and it would kick out of OD on the smallest hill.
I've just done the fuel filter and have the KWIK air. I've read the fuel pump causes loss of MPG and power if they are going bad. Can this be the issue ?
I plan on doing the SS cross over next but may do the fuel pump to see what happens.
Anyone please I need suggestions and help. It's not the brakes on the TT, I've checked those as well.
Thanks....

I would pull the intake boot off the turbo and check to make sure it is alright. Check to make sure there is no excess play and it turns freely. I could see the fuel pump causing a loss in power but can't see how it would affect your milage. Good luck!!

The stock fuel pump is generally a good unit so i would check the fuel pressure with a gauge on output to make sure it's OK and there is NO debris on the intake side plugging things up. I agree with Lancer, check your turbo
and all boots although u should hear a boost leak if real bad.
The exhaust "Y" pipe donut has been known to leak and cause a loss of power too. Check for soot or exhaust smell from engine compartment.

Take your fuel pump out and shake the inlet side over a paper towel and see if any debris comes out. What killed mine was a blocked inlet. There's a screen inside to catch it all, but the pump can't deliver any fuel if it's clogged.

Kwik,
Would blowing a little air thru the outlet hurt anything?

I use the Diablo Predator set on Tow/Haul mode. It is more than adequite for the task.
However if you are in the market for a power adder there's a TON of guys that have ditched various brands of chips and programmers for one of Jody Tipton's creations.
I was getting ready to buy one of his chips, but then I started getting some real noisey injectors so the money had to go to that instead.
