351M to ????
After i get my cougar done and i can afford to drive my truck(couple years) becuse of insurance costs. I want to either convert my 351M to fuel injection or drop a 5.4L trition in it. For fuel injection could it be done i have thought about holley projection but does that have fuel injectors or no? would it be worth putting fuel injection on a M-block if it could be done. If that cant be done what about a 5.4L could one of thoes be put in without any problems they seem to have good power.

351M to ????
for a 5.4, you would have to install the brains for it also, and the tranneys are computer controlled and linked to the motor so you would probally have to use a later model tranney. I don't know about the fuel injection on the 351M, you would probally spend more money on it then you would ever save by doing it, probally better just to leave it alone, or put in a small block.

I had friend who put a Holley ProJection on his 351C(mustang). He had a nightmare trying to dial it in. Also the setup alone cost him over a $1000.
For that kind or loot, you could convert to a 460ci.
and reap the "TORQUE" benefits.
