Good luck.
There's no way we can advise you on a price to pay for a truck without seeing it with our own eyes, or at least with fairly detailed pictures. Even then it's only a ballpark number.
The cost of rebuilding your front end will depend on what needs to be done...as well as where in the country you are. I'd suggest calling your nearest Ford dealer or going on-line to one of the club sponsors and pricing parts there: National Parts Depot - Bronco Graveyard, etc...
Hope this helps.

About Putting a value truck
I bet this thread I have linked to below wasn't read (by you or him) and noticed post #3.
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=102632
btw, It is a READ FIRST... *Before posting* type thread.
Self-explanatory idea.
About Pricing something we can't see or feel !
(Example:
I have 3 boxes of gemstones in my closet....what are worth ?)
Btw, the next best way to have people avoid posts it to post in UPPER CASE like you did above.
You probably didn't mean it but Upper Case is considered yelling, and who likes to be yelled at ?
Common sense goes along way here on FTE as it makes it Easier & Better for everyone.
Now your concerns about the other threads ?
Your question about Rebuilding axles should have been posted in the Drivetrain forum.......Why?.
Because that's where Specific Drivetrain topics should go.You are asking about taking an axle apart and Rebuilding it. That has nothing to do with the 73-79 Trucks persay.
Now, If you had asked about what axles were available in the 73-79 trucks then that questions goes in the 73-79 forum that fits in.
Because this forum is the Fastest moving most posted to forum on FTE , it IMO,needs to be the MOST organized, and to me that means users shouldn't post specific systems that cover Many more years of truck be posted in those System Specific Forums to help build them.
There are really smart people in those Specific System Forums that Don't always visit a truck forum.
I hope this helps you understand a little better how the forums work. ?

Enjoy the Ride on FTE!

I agree, be as descriptive on title of new thread, be as descriptive on message a possible. Maybe a breif description of the what you are doing will help fellow forumer's on what you are doing. Check your spelling and grammer syntax.
..and welcome to the site!!

Takes a while to learn all the etiquette for posting here. Some guys will jump down your throat for posting something in the wrong area, even though it seems appropriate to post anything about your 73-79 truck in the '73-'79 forum... Just take your time and navigate the site, looking at all the different, specific forums for the nature of your next question. Sometimes a search will answer a question before you need to post it.

I have found that my posts tend to make more sense and are much more effective if I DON'T post after drinking several adult beverages. Just a word from one who has been know to commit TWI (typing while intoxicated).
