Im almost ready to drop my 460 in my 78 F350 has antone had a problem with the front crossmember hitting the oil pan even with L&L towers and mounts its not 90 degres but looks factory that way
You MIGHT have to get a oil pan with a shallow middle. So just dont keep your hopes up with the stock oil pan but i dont see why it wouldnt work but then again you never know.

If that 460 came out of a car, you need to change the oil pan and the oil pump pickup, to I believe a front sump, since the car motor has a rear sump. Or vice-versa im not quite sure.
