F250 Ranger???

I recently saw a truck with F250 Ranger eblems. I've never heard of this truck before. When were these trucks made from/till?? Does anybody know anything about these trucks, or if this guys just slapped a ranger emblem on it?? Thanks for any info...

Ranger was a options package used on some trucks from the 80's and 70's

Ford likes to use old car names and recycle them for new models. Kind of a retro thing I guess. Ranger and Explorer were both originally trim levels for full size trucks in the 70's. The new Fairlane van and Mercury Montego use old Ford car names, as well as the 500.

I just brought home a 1969 F-250 Ranger. I believe they started them around 1967.

yep, the ranger was an opiton package on ford trucks up until the compact truck ranger came out. as i recall the ranger package was first used in the mid sixties.

I own a '78 F150 Ranger, A 2000 Ranger and a 2001 F150 XLT. makes for weird math; 2 (Rangers) + 2 (F150s) = 3 (trucks)

If memory serves, the Ranger package first came out in 65. But I've been wrong before and I'll be wrong again.
