Why would you want to use anything heavier than 75-140???
Ar you thinking the Redline Xw-250 or something? If you go that route I would think only use if you into some special , non-normal use, like truck pulling or Monster truck building and know what you are doing.
If you dont have a limited slip diff then i dont see why putting in a heavier oil will hurt things. Note: that syn oils help in cold climates and you dont have to change the oil as often as dyno oil.
Ive got a limited slip diff in my truck but when i got stuck and noticed that it wasnt working i decided to take a look. When i poped the cover off, i could see clutch material in the oil so when i went to put oil back in it i noticed that little tag for the oil. But since the clutchs were already gone i decided to put 90w in there untill i either get a locker or buy a new clutch pack from ford. That was about a month ago and i still havnt got around to doing it, havnt noticed any differences.
