ok thanks so i wont have to change those out then but do the wire conectors on the 94 harness match those on my 93 injectors? And what do i have to change to put 4 wheel abs on the 93? Or do i even have to? to make it all work. I guess what i mean is do i have to make the 93 truck 4 wheel abs to make the ecu out of the 94 truck work on the 93?
No, the ABS is seperate. But I'm not sure a 94 F-150 will have front ABS. It was an option if anything. If you have a couple wires running to the rotor it has ABS. I can't ever recall seeing one, though. The broncos almost always had it.
Ok thanks. The only reason i asked was because i saw those wires going to the master cylinder that wernt on the 93 but i didint think to look at the rotors. Thanks for the help.
John
You wouldn't have wires coming off the master cylinder for ABS anyway. There's a sensor to let you know when you are low on brake fluid, and there's a cancel switch for the cruise control off the master cylinder.
Oh ok. But i have cruise control on the 93 and a sensor that tells when the break fluid is low but there are other wires goin to the master cylinder that are not on the 93 so the only thiing that i thought it could be is for 4 wheel abs but maybe in 94 they used a different type of sensor for the cruise control but i dont know.
I forgot to ask this earlier, but does anyone kno the deffernces in the 94 harness and the 93. What is on the 94 harness that isnt on the 93 and vise versa? Is there anything besides the MAF and the fact that the 94 it has a e4od and the 93 AOD that would not let the 94 ecu work on the 93? thanks
John
Ok thanks. But does anyone if there is anything besides the MAF and the fact that the 94 it has a e4od and the 93 AOD that would not let the 94 ecu work on the 93? Im goining to pick up a Hanes manual sometime this week, gunna need it for the project anyhow. thanks
