changing front clip to 92

I was wondering if anyone has changed there 80-86 front clip to a 92-96.I know I will have to change the back bed and rad.support.But how about all of the little things like the hood latch and cowl vent.I have heard some people say that you have to change the cowl vent.I was wondering if you really have to change it or not.I will be using a cowl induction hood so the original cowl will not be noticable.I also heard that you have to make a bracket for the front bumper. If there is anyone that has made the change I would really appreciate the advise.

You will need to fabricate a bracket for the front bumper.

You will need the radiator support, the latches, the fenders, inner and outer, grille, headlamps, etc... everything is bolt on except the front bumper.

The cowl is the same, although a different design. It should be replaced if you are looking to change the apperance of the truck, but should not a nesscessity. The bed the same thing, not a nesscessity, only to match. Then you have things like the vent window and dash panel, but then you are getting into some work there.

Hood hinges are a direct replacement, use either your old hinges or the ones off the donor truck.
