What tires?

Im in high school and have a 1978 f150 custom 4x4, and plan on putting a 4" lift on and i was wonder since im in school and going to be using it as a daily driver but also to go mudding sometimes, which tire should i get that will have a good tread life for the road and will be good off road tires to, and what size? 33's or 35's? Thanks,

Steve

Well, to save money, I would say go with 33s, so the need to regear is minimal. As far as tires, I would recommend some cheap mud tires. They ride well, and will last a while if you keep them rotated. I used to have BFGs, but recently think buckshots are a better deal since they are about the same tread but a lot cheaper.

I think you might be better off with an A/T tire since you will only be going mudding "sometimes"
