A few weeks ago, my passenger inside door handle stopped working (slipped off the lever) and yesterday, my driver's side inside handle did the same thing.
GRRRrrrrr.
Took both of them off and saw the pot metal "****" (for the lack of a better word) ends were worn so much they would not catch the lever anymore. The passenger side more than the drivers only because it looked like the first owner tried to extend it somehow.
Well, for several hours I went looking for new ones (you dont know what condition used ones would be in) The cheapest I can find are over $50 a set with shipping.
Well, thank goodness my husband has a blacksmith shop and make a better set out of steel. He had to do just that with an Hornet we had 20 years ago. Until then a screwdriver will have to do to stick in the hole and lift up the lever arm while inside.
