Hey quick ? will a 390 bolt to a AOD tranny? the tranny is a '86 stock AOD (in a bronco)? I think I'm stuck w/ this dam engine and don't have a use for it.......

No, a 390 uses the FE (somewhat round) bolt pattern. Those engines are 332, 352, 360, 361, 390, 391, 410, 427, 428 etc.
Your AOD will fit 300, 302, 351W and 351C engines. Be sure the flex plate balancing matches the engine it is going on to!
The 335/385 series engines 351M, 400, 429, 460 use a similar but larger bolt pattern.
390's are really very good engines, and you can drop it off at my garage any time. No really, I'd bet you could sell it easily to a FE guy. I suggest listing it in the classified ads of this site, just be sure to list as much info as possible to help sell it (year, car or truck engine, miles, condition, 2V or 4V, completeness, etc...).
