V-10 tuner
My only changes so far is a K&N filter. It looks like someone already changed the y-pipe because I don't have the necked-down configuration others have. Besides the obvious HP and TQ gains, I mostly want to improve the throttle response and the trans shifting quality. I usually run 87 octane gas too.
No 99 or tuners for me so can't reeally help much.
But I can say the Ken Payne the site owner runs MotorHaven and their site has good info on the diferent tuners and a quick phone call, e-mail, or question in the forum will get you hooked up with the right chip.
You are on the right track. See link: These guys can get you started with the SCT tuner.

The 3 modes are usually:
1. Economy Mode (slight increase in Hp/torque with 87 oct fuel)
2. Towing Mode
3. Racing or total Power Mode (93 oct fuel)
Give them a call or email...they are FTE sponsers...
biz
www.sctflash.com then find a sct dealer close by your home. let them do up the custom tunes for your truck.
i have the excal2 from sct and will state it is the best to work with in reseting a v10.
and working with a dealer close to your home makes it all the better as the excal is a retunable tuner. which i mean is if you don't like the first set they can go back in and retune it by move around any of the areas needed.
ken the fte web master and a sct dealer has done many v10's and has some very nasty tunes already done.
one thing is sct also has a excal that is pretuned from them you don't want that one.you want the custom tuned model. any other ?'s you can email and i will try and help you out.
