Coming home from a party at 12 or so, i hit a deer at 55 and it fell down and i ran it over on my driver side. i turned around to look and it was gone! I'm like thats impossible i just ran it over it cant be dead. looked around and there wasnt any sign of deer anywhere by the fence.

I don't swerve or slam on my brakes for any animal in the road. Swerving is the first step for a wreck/rollover. Especially in my 'Yota with manual steering.

Slamming on the brakes? No thanks...tires are too expensive to flat-spot.

I can't count how many critters I've exterminated...

hit a skunk with my mud terrains when i was probably going a little too fast down a dirt road....skunk guts were all in the wheel well and pretty much all over the underside of my truck. even after i pressure washed it it still smelled for about a week.

Well...I killed a doe with my 'Yota tonight on my way home from a friends house. Going about 40mph (a mile from my house) and I saw it on the side of the road. It started running away from me, but since there was a chainlink fence on the left side of the road, it turned right and ran straight into me. I saw (and felt) her head SMACK my bumper and the body bounce off of my bedside. She hit solid!...jarred my fillings a little...

I pulled over about 0.2 miles up the road and got out to inspect the damage. Found my marker light hanging from the wires (still works fine) and the headlight's adjuster is broken (the plastic piece that clips into the radiator support).

I jumped back in and turned around to find her so I can make sure she's dead and not suffering. Made the first pass and didn't see her. Turned around (heading back the the same way I hit her) and saw her 50-60 feet away from where I hit her, on the opposite side of the ditch against the fence I mentioned earlier.

I never let off the throttle. It was in the middle of a turn, so locking up the brakes would have sent me into a barrel-roll (rear brakes lock up before fronts). Bambi vs Me? Heh...what do you think I'll choose?

Hit a 6 point one night coming back from a mud sling. 1976 Jeep cherokee(the big ones) No lift, cut out fenders, 35" boggers, open headers, definetly not legal. I was 15 no lisencse. 75 mph down a back road, 6 point steps out and...............thank god for over built solid steel grill guards. Heads hanging on my wall, all the meat was ruined.

One time I was coming home late one night and out of no where a deer started walking. I swerved to miss it, and I just nudged it and it had done a complete 360 and fell and got back up, I saw it from my tailight reflection. Got home checked my truck nothin but a rub mark on the side of my door. Talk about a close call.
