Is it possible to change the steering sector from a 1970 ford, to a 68??? The 1968 2wd had a v-6 in it. then a 360 v-8 was put in there. The 68 had no power steering and I wanted to put the power steering from the 1970 in there. The bolts just dont seem to line up.
Now if I recall right on those the gear box sits behind the front axle correct? Might be the possiblilty that the mounting plates might be different and some modifications might be in order. Just gonna have to through some ideas out on this one.

Adam, I don't know what kind of gear that you have, but all 65-79 2WD trucks use the same gear. Your truck may have come with an I6, there were no V6s offered in 68. Yes you can put power steering on your truck. I have one from a 76 on my 66.
