Front end noise
I have a 2000 F250 SD diesel with a front end noise. When turning the steering wheel it sounds like a rubbing sqeaking noise. Also can really hear the power steering. Tires don't rub. Lubed everything when I replaced ball joints this week to resolve clunking noise. Had new wheel bearings recently as well. Any help is appreciated.

If the power steering is really whining, chances are that it is low on PS fluid.
Is the rubbing squeeking noise in the front of the truck or in the cab? Can you have someone turn the wheel while you listen & try to pinpoint?

Thanks. That was my first thought on PS fluid as well. It was full. Doesn't neccasarily whine but you can hear it. Like if you are parked and you turn your wheel you can hear your wheels turning but it does it when moving and more pronounced. The rubbing is definitley coming from the front end.
