Stuck Shifter
1990 150. I replaced the ignition cylinder and switch. Nothing. What is next? If its the shifter interlock? How easy or hard is it and what does it take? Thanks for your help if you have any.

I have an 89 f150 in the drive with the same problem. It's has slack where the actuator rod connects inside the column (from the lower switch). There's a piece broken off the lower actuator (in column) that the long rod is connected to. You can wiggle the rod left and right about a half inch at the top of the column. When you turn the key to try to start, it will start if you reach above the column, grab the rod, and shove it down further toward the switch. I'm not sure where to get the little oarts that go in the column, other than Ford.
