My truck, 1985 F250 6.9, is one of the ones that has the dealer installed air in it. It has a seperate blower for the heater and air conditioning. The resistor for the air conditioning blower went south and will only run on high. I figured that the one for the air would be the same for the heater so I purchased one that the parts house lists. It does not work. The parts house only list one resistor for that truck and that one works fine on the heater blower. Has anyone else ran into this before? If so where did you get the correct resistor for the air conditioner blower?
Thanks for your help,
Rodney
The blower resistor on my 1984 f150 (no air) wet bad,and I found one at the local junk yard.
My 1981 f150 has factory installed air and I have noticed the resistor is different than on my 1984.
You might try blue oval parts,as they specialize in Ford parts and are a sponser here as well.
Also try Auto Krafters.
If all else fails, you might want to try your local wercking yards.
