best spot for probe

moving pyro probe before turbo,whats best spot?

I put mine in the manifold right before the up-pipe. Its real easy to get to under the truck and is where most put it I think.

I installed mine in the Y pipe before the turbo. That way it reads both sides. Easy install, just use progressively larger bits, go slow, & have the ruck running to blow any small particales out. Several guys around here have installed thiers in this location but both locations work fine.

in the collector pipe also. it still only gets one side, but i like to be as close to the turbo as possible, there a divider in the collector pipe.

On the driver's side toward the rear as far back as possible. I used only one drill bit and watched all of the shavings fall away from the hole. When tapping it I used grease to capture the fine shavings. As an added precaution I used a shop vac on the hole to suck out anything that got in.
