Moonvisor installation help!

i just got one off ebay for 78 f150. I got the visor, 8 screws with caps, no instructions. I set it on the trucj & can see where the 6 screws go on top. My problem is with the side screws. There is a 3/4" gaps between the visor & the truck. Am I missing a part or doing something wrong? Any help?

Ive put a few on .
It may just need pushing in on the sides.
They fit low and go over top of the rain gutter anyone Ive put on.
