Does any one have this set-up. I am considering it for a 2000 f-350 V10 4x4 CC SB. I haul an 11 k fiver. Did you find it helped mileage wise? I thought it might be cool to double your gears but is it worth the $?
Greetings, fellow Canuk.
I have really enjoyed having one of these gear splitters; in fact, it was
the biggest buying point, as it came in the truck. With the fairly heavy
weight of your 5th wheel, you could easily justify the "investment" in
terms of improved mileage, performance and drivetrain longevity. The
downside,of course, is expense. But, if you tow regularly, a splitter is
the way to go.....

Thanks for your reply. I checked the price thru Gear Vendors. Choke! That's a lot of bucks (over $5k US). Maybe if I win the lottery, then I'll also throw on a Whipple supercharger.
