HVAC control vacuum source?
HVAC control vacuum source?
89 f250....the ventilation controls do nothing....where is the vacuum source for the controls under the hood...where is the "coffee can" if there is one?...good place to start...thanks to all...Mick...oh yeah....460, auto...
The "coffee can" is not used for the ventilation controls, it is used for powertrain control.
The ventilation controls reservoir is a black ball about 3.5 inch across, not hard to spot.
Their should be a hose leaving the ball, going through a "T", a check valve and then push on to the intake manifold at a vacuum fitting.
From the "T" there should be a hose running to the vacuum control in the cab.
