I am going to have to re-seal my front diff on my 2000 F-350PSD ESOF. I bought the two innermost seals that ride against the pumpkin from the stealership. After paying the price on those two seals, anyone got NAPA numbers for the following:
Output Shaft Dust Cover
Hub Seal (That one about the size of a saucer)
O-Ring behind the ESOF Hub (I LIKE my ESOF).
My local NAPA does not have a @#%! exploded drawing of the front end on this thing, and I would like to have everything I need. This all started after changing ball joints, since I have 154,000 on this truck, I want to do ALL the seals in the front end since I have to take it right apart anyway.
napa doesn't carry them. dealer only parts. and is your front diff leak cause if its not i wouldn't tackle this job. pretty sure the carrier has to come out to do the inner seals as they are installed from inside of the diff housing..
ok well atleast you know what your getting into. the key is to not get the shims on both side of the carrier bearing switch side to side. if you already kow that great if not better to know now then later!
