mr4speedford I saw on a different thread that you are able to decode data plates. I have a question about mine. The data is as follows F10J9R42913; WB=110; color=X; date= F10J01G; trans=C; axle=02. The truck is a 59 styleside shortbed with a 223-6. I guess it was built July 8 1959 in San Jose. It is mostly rust colored at this point, but if X = goldenrod yellow, that must be how it started out life. I need to know what the trans and axle codes mean. It has a two speed automatic in it now. Thanks for any info you can provide.
