I was wondering if a seat out of a newer, say late 90's truck would bolt in with no problems to my 79 F-250 reg cab. Also is there somewhere that I can order new door panels with cloth and padding covering them? I don't like the plastic ones that I have in my truck now, they just seem too cheap looking. My dash cover is new and I would like to change the color of it. Would it be cheaper to order a new one or get this one painted? I don't know anything about where to get the paint or dye for this or what the cost would be.
I gave up a 99 SuperDuty for this truck, so I would like it to be comfy and eye appealing as I don't intend to trade trucks ever again.
Thanks for such a great informative site!!!

lariat has wood grain inserts that are soft but that only
goes on a third of the door. You could probably go to a
upholstery shop and have them covered with some padding and
fabric.
