Let's try this here.....

Didn't get any response on the 87-96 board. I'm going to look at a '93 F150 4x4 5.8L this weekend. Being a '93 I assume the 5.8L is speed density. Will 95 F150 5.0L MAF parts fit on this for a conversion .... should I even bother if not altering it from stock????

They say that MAF will get a little better gas mileage and have a bit better throttle response than SD, all else being equal. If you're not going to do anything else to the motor it may be more trouble than it's worth to convert it. But if you already have the parts...well, I think you can make it work.

I have a 95 F150 5.0L that I bought for cheap, mainly for the cab body parts. I put a fuel pump in it and got it running but it is spitting green water out a hole in the cross over pipe. With 203000 miles I don't figure it's worth fixing. I'm going to try to buy a 93 F150 4x4 5.8L tomorrow and would like to change it over to MAF if I can use the 95 F150 parts I have. Thanks.

203K miles...that's just broken in!

Well, let us know how it goes with the '93, and if you decide to convert it to MAF we've got some real EFI gurus who hang out in here, they'll be able to tell you exactly what you'll need to do.
