mounting fender flares
Hey, i'm sure this has been asked a few times.. but i have a new 06 f 150 xl 4x4 i just picked up some fx4 fender flares of of ebay because i like the stock looking ones. i dont really mind drilling the underside in the fenders but i ate the idea of drilling on the top outer fender holes... is it a bad idea you think to use 3M trim adhesive tape on the outer side and just drill the holes and mount the factory way underneath. How do most after market flares usually mount? will the double sided tape hold up in the carwash? ahh what to doo ?? thanks. if anyone has a better idea or any picks for me i would really appretiate it.
